HCC Transfer Station Public Meeting and July HCC Meeting Agenda

Good morning neighbors,

There will be a public meeting at the Hillsboro Community Center with the Sierra County commissioners and county manager on Thursday July 27^th at 5:15.  This important meeting is in response to the proposed changes in the county waste/trash ordinance that would hire a private franchise to operate our transfer station.

Several of our community members attended the June 20^th regular commission meeting.  They expressed concerns about the proposed ordinance.  The commissioners agreed to a public meeting in Hillsboro to give the residents of our area a chance to be heard.

Please bring your questions and concerns to the meeting.  We thank the county management for giving us this opportunity.

The July meeting of the HCC board is Sunday July, 16^th at 9am in the HCC kitchen.  The agenda for the meeting is attached.  As always, all are welcome to attend.

A reminder, a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous will be held every Sunday evening at 6pm in the HCC kitchen beginning this Sunday, July 16^th.
